Beloved son of the late Hal and Mary (nee Doyle) Whitlock.
Dear brother of Joan (Richard) Burke, Florence Whitlock, Marjorie (Jordon) Stewart and Deborah Whitlock-Kennedy.
He was predeceased by his nephew John Parsons Whitlock.

Son of the late Earl and Ruby (nee Carver) MacFarlane and brother of Cathy Bourque of Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Predeceased by brothers Jackie, Billy, and Robbie MacFarlane.
Special uncle to Amadea (MacFarlane) MacFadyen of Saint John, New Brunswick, and Jeffery MacFarlane (Amy) of Charlottetown, PEI.
He was predeceased by nephew Joseph Bourque of Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Cherished Grampy to Braven and Brooklyn, and special brother-in-law of Suzanne Burns-Chisholm, (Ron) (Billy MacFarlane), aunt Margaret MacFarlane, and aunt Phyllis Roberts. Also fondly remembered by many great nieces and nephews.

The death occurred peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Saturday, January 28, 2012, of Samuel Leonard Smith of Sturgeon, in his 89th year.
Beloved husband of the late Melvina Bridget Smith (nee Jamieson) and dear father of Shirley (Joe) Lannigan, Judy (Roy) MacMillian and Sam (Debi).
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Lennie Lannigan, Jamie Lannigan, Darlene McGee, Charlene Campbell, Joey Lannigan, Philip Lannigan, Everett MacMillan, Jullie MacMillan, Laura MacMillan, Sam T. Smith, Jeff Smith, Melissa Smith and 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, also by his brother Howard Smith and sister Rosalie Bonnell, and many nieces and nephews.
Leonard was born in Baccaro, Shelburne Co.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Samuel and Sarah (Walsh) Smith, brothers; Hersey, Alvin and Jack and sisters Alfretta Atkinson, Inez Plester and Roeanna Brennan. Leonard loved fishing, hunting, bingo, cards, wrestling and his grandchildren.
When he moved from Halifax where he was a Freight-handler, he became a lobster fisherman. Later when he retired he and his wife would spend hours around the Point watching and feeding the foxes. He caught mackerel out in St. Mary’s Bay and would sell them or give them away to his family and friends. He was also a great gardener. He would plant a big garden and sell it out by the roadside. He loved to keep busy.
After his wife, Melvina got sick and had to go to the Riverview Manor, it was never the same. Shortly after, he also got sick and had to go to the Shady Rest and from there to the Riverview Manor. Melvina passed away March 19th 2010 and he was just so lost with out her.
Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home until Tuesday at 10:30 am, then to St. Paul’s Church, Sturgeon for funeral service at 11:00 am.
Interment later in the St. Paul’s Parish Cemetery.
Visitation: Monday 7-9 pm only.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Riverview Manor Activity Fund or to St. Paul’s Church would be appreciated.

On Friday, January 27, 2012 our precious angel Paula Marie Wilson (MacDonald), age 45, was tearfully called to heaven.
Peacefully with her family at her side at the Palliative Care Unit, Paula Wilson of Morell lost her courageous battle with cancer.
Paula was the beloved wife of the late Joey Wilson of Morell. Although their time was cut short, Joey remained the love of her life.
Paula is the loving mother of her two princesses April (Ben Nasser) and Justine Wilson.
She will be sadly missed by her mother Teresa MacDonald (Laybolt) and her father the late Chester MacDonald.
She will also be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters Leslie (Christine) MacDonald, Jo-Anne Nelson (Bruce), Anne Marie Hendricken (Ike), Kenny MacDonald (Amanda Lannigan) and Donna Deagle (Gerard).
Paula will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Resting at the Lounge of St. Theresa The Little Flower Church, Morell for visiting hours on Monday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Tuesday with funeral mass from St. Theresa The Little Flower Church at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Saturday morning then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
