At his residence in Cape Wolfe, on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 of Ralph Seaman Cooke, aged 83, beloved husband of Beryl (nee Johnson).
Born in West Cape on October 6, 1929, son of the late Lloyd and Emily (nee Durden) Cooke.
Dear father to Thane, Cape Wolfe; Marlene ( Brian) Bernard, Charlottetown; Ruthie Ellsworth (Tony Gallant), Dunblane; Dewis ( Heather), Charlottetown; Rita (Barry) Hustler, Haliburton; Kent (Sally), Summerside; Kent (Anne), Argyle Shore; Kirk (Gilda), Kelowna, B.C. and Sherri-Dawn (Troy) Jeffery, Tignish. Loving grandfather to eleven grandchildren.
Ralph is also survived by brothers and sisters: Keith Cooke, O’Leary; Edith Pickering, Seaview; Marie (Ivan) Collicutt, Burton; Elwood (Shirley) Cooke, Cape Wolfe and Helen (Verouse) Sentner, Cape Wolfe and brothers and sisters in law Mary Cooke, O’Leary; Edith Cooke, Springfield West; Doreen MacWilliams, N.S.; Jacalyn Hudson, AB; Don (Nicole) Johnson, Dieppe, N.B and Paul (Darlene) Johnson, Summerside.
Predeceased by his parents, grandson Clint Ellsworth, brothers: Kenneth, Gerald, Cyril, Melvin and sister Margaret.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Friday evening 6-9pm.
Funeral service in the Chapel on Saturday at a time to be announced. Interment to follow in Cape Wolfe United Church Cemetery.
In memory of Ralph, memorials to the Cape Wolfe United Church Cemetery or O’Leary Community Health Foundation Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
