At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Saturday, January 14, 2012, of Vivian Florence Beck (nee VanIderstine) of Montague formerly of Alliston, age 92 years.
Beloved wife of the late Ern Beck.
Dear Mother of Jim (Marion), Milltown Cross; Dorothy (Leith) MacLean, Charlottetown; Ken (Debby), Milltown Cross; and John (Ruth), Alliston.
Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Survived by sisters-in-law Kaye MacDonald and Ena Beck.
Pre-deceased by her sisters Daisy Campbell, Laura Hicken and by her infant brother Alfred VanIderstine.
Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home until Tuesday morning, then to The Church of Christ, Montague for funeral service at 2:00 pm.
Interment in the Murray River Cemetery.
Visitation: Monday 7-9 pm only.
If so desired, memorials to The Montague Church of Christ or to The P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated.

So sad to hear that Vivian has passed away. She had been my friend for 0ver 30 years. My sincerest condolences to all the family, especially Jim and Marion.
Thinking of the “Beck” family and sending our love and caring thoughts to you all on the death of your mother Vivian.She was a lady of many talents and no doubt left many precious memories for you all to ponder.Special thoughts of sympathy to Dorothy and Leith Maclean.
