At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 of Harvey Hood of Charlottetown, age 73 Yrs.
Beloved husband of Julie Anne (Bella) Hood (nee Gaudet) and loving father of Stephen (Carolyn), Robbie (Julie) and Carol Ann McAndrews.
Adored Grampie to Skylar, Mackenzie, Dawna, Taylor, Vanessa, Allan, Timmy, Betty-Jean, Chris, Samantha, Nelson, Grace and Glen Ryan and Great grampie to Jovi, Kayden & Ryan.
Harvey is also survived by brothers – Robin(Judy), Gaye (Bonnie), Brian (Marie), Billy (Cathy), Leo (Debbie), Westley (Pauline) and Clayton; sisters – Sandra Hucz, Elaine Fagen (Francis), Orwest and Jo-anne MacPherson (Gary); in-laws, Armand Gaudet (Gladys), Sr. Marie Gaudet and Bernie Gaudet.
He is predeceased by his son – David; parents – Roy and Viola Hood and brother – Wendall (Butch).
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation on Friday, January 6, 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 7 at St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown, at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow later at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or PEI Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
The Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston Branch No. 30 will hold a Service of Remembrance at the funeral home at 6:30 P.M., Friday evening.
