Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 of Edgar J. Gallant of Summerside, aged 69 years.
Born in Egmont Bay on December 1, 1942 son of the late Joseph and Mary (LeClair) Gallant.
Loving husband of Edith M. (Murl) Gallant.
Cherished father to Crystal Gallant Jessome (Shawn), Borden Carleton; Adam Wall (Amanda), Pickering, Ontario and David Wadman (Diane), Summerside.
Loving grandfather to Madison and Jordan Jessome and Clinton Wall.
Dear brother of Eric (Melina) Gallant, Summerside; Helen (Bob) Eddy, British Columbia; Janet (Gordie) Gabriel, British Columbia; Peter (Jane) Gallant, New London and Della (Mike) Wisener, Summerside. Predeceased by brother Andy Gallant.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington.
In keeping with Edgar’s wishes no visitation or funeral service will be held.
A private family committal service will take place in People’s Cemetery, Freetown.
