At her home on Thursday April 29, 2010 of Ruth E. Campbell of Park Corner aged 93 years. Born in Summerside, November 21, 1916, daughter of the late James A. and Carrie (Compton) Montgomery.
Wife of the late James T. Campbell. Mother of Monty (Angela), Charlottetown; Don (Susan), Brampton, Ont.; Mary (Bernie) Bergen, Vancouver; George (Maureen), Kelvin Grove and Pamela, Park Corner. Grandmother of Melanie, Sandra, Jeff, Rick, Cassie, Stephanie, Lindsay, Tanja, Sara, Nicholas, Julia and Emily. Great grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law Maude MacNeill, Charlottetown and Georgie MacLeod her husband Bruce MacLeod, Clinton View Lodge, Clinton and 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Predeceased by her grandsons Matthew and Jordan; her brother Eric and sisters and brothers-in-law Amy (Fred Burke) & (John Lambert); Donald (Billie) Campbell, Wally Sims and Lloyd MacNeill.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington for visitation on Saturday from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Sunday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook. If so desired contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
