Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward home on Monday, April 26, 2010 of Mrs. Jean L. (Nee Murphy) Ross of Parkdale, age 77 years.
Beloved wife of the late Gordon F. Ross, and dear mother of Debra (Guy Lapointe) Ross and Denyse (Jean “J.R.”) Ross.
She will also be lovingly remembered by two grandchildren Jenna Ross and Trena-Jean Ross, two great-grandchildren Ethan and Eric Ross, brothers Leo “Lindy”, Allan, and Melvin Murphy, and sister Roseline Murphy.
She was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Lauretta (Cahill) Murphy, brothers Clifford and Merlin, and sister Cathy.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home. No visiting hours or funeral service by personal request.
A committal service will be held on Friday, April 30, at The Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown at 3 p.m.
If so desired memorial contributions in Jean’s memory may be made to the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre or the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home.
