The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Hospital, Alberton on Tuesday April 27, 2010 of Mary M. Gallant of Tignish Senior Home Care Co-op and formerly of Miminegash aged 80 years.
Beloved wife of the late Freeman Gallant.
She was born in Miminegash on May 7, 1929 the daughter of the late Myrl and Judith (Bernard) Deagle.
Dear mother to Billy (Sharon), St. Louis; Emily (Ade) Arsenault, Alberton; Dot (Herby) Perry, St. Edward; Earl (Bev), Roseville; Judy Hustler, Miminegash; Jimmy, Summerside; Gerard (Laverne), St. Louis; Pappy (Debbie), Miminegash; Dale (Irene), Ascension; Raymond (Darlene), Alberton and Darlene (Kendall) Bowness, Alberton.
Loving grandmother to 29 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters Jean (Ray) Doucette, Summerside; Ida (Reggie)Gaudet, St. Edward; Annie Gaudet; Jimmy Deagle; Wilfred Deagle; Leo (Yvonne) Deagle; Benny (Catherine) Deagle and a sister-in-law Theresa Deagle all of Miminegash.
She was predeceased by her parents Myrl and Judith, brother Patrick and son-in-law Gussie Hustler.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7 – 9 pm and Thursday from 12 – 2 pm. Funeral will be held Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 3 pm. Interment in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital or the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
