Peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 of Byron Bruce of Mt. Herbert, age 57 Yrs. Beloved husband of Margaret Bruce (nee Mallard) and loving father of Jeff and Sheryl Bruce.
Byron is also survived by his brother – Rupert Bruce (Fran); Sisters – Jean MacIntosh (Allistair), Joyce MacKay (late Sinclair), Barbara Baker (Wendell) and Kaye Bruce (Daniel).
He was predeceased by his parents Wesley and Martha Bruce and brothers – Robert Bruce and Gordon Bruce (in infancy).
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford for visitation on Friday, April 30, 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 – 9:00 P.M.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 1, at 2:00 P.M. at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the family plot at the People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre would be appreciated.
