Beloved husband of Jessie (nee Stewart). Devoted father of Paula Downe Willis (Barrie), Valerie Downe and Roma Downe-MacQuarrie (Blair).
Proud grandfather of Brian Willis (Jennifer Ridgeway), Andrew Willis (Delphine Gauthier), Matthew Willis (Myfany Marshall), Peter Willis, Timothy Willis (Chole Campbell), Elizabeth Johnston-Ross (Shane), Blake Johnston (Jenny Meadows), Michael MacQuarrie (Trish Wolanski), and Ellen MacQuarrie-Hillier (Ian). Adoring great-grandfather of Lisa Murphy-Reeves, Manon Willis, Gabriel Willis, Colston Marshall Willis, Samuel Marshall Willis, Benjamin Willis, Daniel and Charles Ross, Mabel and Russell Johnston, Lennie (deceased) and Lachlan Hillier. Brother of Kallie Wood (Ed), Minnie Clay (Syd) and Roma Slomer (Bob, deceased).
Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Edward (Florence), Robert (Gladys), Florence Crockett (Hawley) and Olive Hencher (Birt).
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation on Friday from 4-7 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital or Trinity United Church. Charlottetown Branch#1 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home Friday evening at 7:15 p.m.
