The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at the Prince County Hospital , Summerside on Thursday, February 25th , 2010 of Karen Anne MacDonald of Long River, P.E.I. ,and formerly of Summerside aged 50 years.
Karen was born on November 10th, 1959, in Summerside to her parents Lorraine MacDonald ( nee Pineau ) of S’side & Nelson ( Ruth ) MacDonald of Thompson, Man. .
Special friend of Kevin Clow and his daughter Melanie. Also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Survived by her sisters & brother Cathy, Susan ( Mike ) Waite and Michael all of S’side.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, March 1st, 2010 for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m..
Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Visiting hours on Monday 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Karen’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Prince County Hospital Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated.
