At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 of Burton George Ellis of Tyne Valley aged 70, beloved husband of Erma (nee Grigg).
Born in Tyne Valley on April 23, 1939, son of the late George and Hazel (Folland) Ellis.
Cherished father of Steven (Kathy), Tyne Valley; Susan (Michael) Newcombe, Port Hill; Scott (Chrissy), Tyne Valley; Shawn (Kristina), Northam; Stacey (William) Bishop, Tyne Valley.
Loving grandfather of Andrew, Evan, Joelyn, Kent, Kyle, Tiffany, Logan, Madison, Ashley, Nicholas, Hollie, Chloe, Brody and great grandson Wesley.
Dear brother of Edgar (Margo), Calgary and Muriel (Elwell) Grigg, Tyne Valley. Son in law of Greta Grigg, Northam. Brother in Law of Jean Grigg, Summerside; Ernest (Rowena) Grigg, Northam; Rosalie Grigg, Quispamsis.
Predeceased by his parents, father in law Graydon Grigg and brother in law Winston Grigg.
Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral on Saturday in the Chapel at 11am. Interment to follow in the Tyne Valley United Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the CNIB or the Tyne Valley United Church would be appreciated. Due to severe allergies in the family , please refrain from wearing scents.
