Born in Summerside on October 30, 1950 son of Bernice (Murphy) McCarvill and the late Vernon McCarvill of Kinkora.
Beloved husband of Mary (Smith) McCarvill.
Loving father of Rachael (Benjamin), Rebecca (Stephane), Terrance (Amy), Darcy, Liam, Mary Ellen and Bennett.
Dear brother of Elizabeth (Fulton) Hamill, Patrick, Kathy (Mauro) Corazza, Dr. Mike (Mary), Shawn (Joanne), Reg (Cheryl) and Lisa (Garth) Campbell. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Son-in-law of Francis and Noreen (Trainor) Smith. Brother-in-law of Maureen, Maurice (Cindy), Bennett, Charles, Leonard (Debbie), James (Michelle), and Amy (Patrick) Duffy.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.

At the Community Hospital, O’Leary, on Monday, January 23, 2012, with his family by his side, of Robert William (Bob) Martin of 10 MacNeill Lane, Alberton, age 73 years.
Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Shaw) Martin. Born at Thornhill, Ontario on June 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Cecil and Pearl (nee Robinson) Martin.
Lovingly remembered by his children: Diana Kaleta of Bomanville, Ont.; Michael (Kelly) Walker of Enmore, PEI; Richard and (special grandson) Justice Walker of Enmore, PEI; Kim Martin-Cann of Hamilton, Ont.; Karyn (Brad) Murray of Cannington, Ont.; Kathleen (Mark) MacRae of Keswick, Ontario.
He will be sadly missed by his 18 grandchildren and by his five great-grandchildren.
Dear brother to Margaret Sweet and Carol Davis both of Collingwood, Ont.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law: Roy and Gloria Acorn of Elmsdale; Vance and Lynn Shaw of Bowmanville, Ont.: Goldie MacFadyen of Howlan Road; Gail Acorn of Torbay, NFLD; Joyce Fillion (Bill Henry) of Markham Ont.; Brenda (Al) Freshwater of Meaford, Ont.; Rena (Wayne) MacDonald of Summerside; and Delton (Leigh) Shaw of Peterbrough, Ont. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Kenneth Martin, and by his father and mother-in-law, Guss and Catherine Shaw.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral on Thursday afternoon January 26th from the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene, for funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.

Phyllis will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law, Shirley Murphy (the late Conn), Elizabeth Murphy (the late Clarence), Eileen Murphy (the late Elmer), Kay MacIntyre (the late Cy), Joan Lund (Eddie) and Neta Fleming (Jim), and brother-in-law Buddy MacIntyre (Jane). She will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Temple and Florence Murphy, her brothers Clarence, Charl, Conn, and Elmer, and by her sister Bernice Anderson.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 1:20 pm on Monday, Jan 23rd, and then transferred to St Andrew’s Parish Church, Mount Stewart for funeral mass at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in St Andrew’s Parish Cemetery.

Also lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Debbie, 13 grandchildren , 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
